Coaches guide students through the lesson and use activities to keep practice engaging. The advertised coach-to-student ratio for this class is 1:12.

How do I sign up for a free trial lesson?
Choose a location in the class finder, then WhatsApp our team with your child’s age and preferred session. Wait for confirmation before attending.
Community trials are free except at ActiveSG classes in Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East and Woodlands. Private and family first lessons are 50% off. There is no obligation to enrol after a trial.

After the free trial lesson, am I obligated to join the class?
There are no obligations, nor will there be any hard selling to join the classes. You are free to determine if the class is suitable for your child.
What should I bring for the free trial lesson?
Just be in any sports attire and bring along a water bottle.
Is there a minimum age to join?
Our classes are for kids aged 5 years and up. If your kid is below 5 years old, just inform us their birth year and we'll send you a message when they're old enough.
How much do the classes cost after the free trial lesson?
Fees vary by venue. Many community classes list S$80 for 8 lessons; others have different rates. Check your chosen class in the class finder. People’s Association class fees are collected on a two-month basis.
A one-time registration fee of S$85 includes the uniform, belt, grading-card registration and insurance for injury during lessons. Confirm the fees and registration arrangements for your selected class, including ActiveSG classes, before paying.
What are the coaches qualifications?
Our coaches are certified under the Singapore Coach Excellence (SG-Coach) Programme & an affiliate of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.
What will the students learn during lessons?
Students can expect to learn Taekwondo patterns (Poomsae), fitness training, sparring (kyorugi), and self-defence techniques.
How do I know if I am getting authentic training?
Momentum is listed as an affiliate of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation. Ask our team about the syllabus, coaching qualifications and grading arrangements for your programme.
Do you have separate classes for the different age groups?
In almost every class, there are children of different ages. It will be the coach's responsibility to manage the class according to the number of students in attendance.
