Family Taekwondo classes in Singapore

Learn Taekwondo together

Family lessons give parents and children time to practise together with a personal instructor. The coach can adjust the pace to suit the group, so tell us everyone’s ages and experience before booking.

Why train as a family?

You can see how your children learn, encourage each other and make training part of your week. Working towards the next skill or belt gives you a shared goal. Progress depends on each person’s practice and readiness.

What you will practise

  • Patterns (poomsae) and Taekwondo techniques.
  • Sparring skills and self-defence exercises appropriate to the group.
  • Fitness exercises and movement games.

Family lesson fees

S$100 per lesson for up to 4 family members, plus S$10 for each additional person. The first lesson is 50% off.

Where lessons take place

Ask about training at Momentum Studio, 21 Woodlands Close, or arranging a lesson at your home. Please confirm availability and the meeting point before visiting.

Frequently asked questions

Have another question?

Talk to our team
What's the minimum age?

While we suggest a minimum age of 4, if your 3-year-old can understand and follow instructions, they're welcome too!

Is it safe?

Taekwondo is generally safe, but like any physical activity, there's some risk. Our trained coaches work hard to create a safe environment, minimizing the chance of injuries.

Is Taekwondo very competitive?

Taekwondo can be as competitive as you want it to be. It’s perfect for achieving fitness and discipline; however, those interested in competitions can pursue that path as well.

What's the schedule like?

We offer flexible scheduling on weekends to accommodate your family's availability. You pick your preferred day and time, for example Sundays from 2-3 pm.

I'm not in the best physical condition, will this program be suitable?

Tell us about your experience and any needs before booking so we can discuss the class format and pace. If you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for a health condition, check with your healthcare professional.

My child has learning difficulties; can they participate?

While our coaches may not specialise in dealing with learning difficulties, we're happy to work with your family to accommodate your needs.

If I have prior experience in Taekwondo, can I continue from where I left off?

Yes, let's discuss where you stopped and how we can integrate your previous experience into our sessions.

I'm interested, but the location is far away. What can I do?

We can arrange sessions at your location for your convenience, combining on-site and home-based training as needed.
