Whether you’re a seasoned martial artist or an aspiring instructor, here’s a quick guide on how to become an NROC-certified coach and why it matters, especially if you’re interested in joining us as a taekwondo coach. We also leave our contact details below so you can contact us if you need quick help on registering for the courses and becoming a coach.

What is NROC?

The National Registry of Coaches (NROC) is Singapore’s official registry for qualified sports coaches, managed by Sport Singapore (CoachSG). It ensures all coaches meet standards in:

  • Proper coaching certification (through the SG-Coach pathway)

  • Safety (Standard First Aid, CPR/AED)

  • Ethics and Safe Sport training

  • Continuous learning and professional development

In short, if you’re an NROC coach, schools, clubs, and parents can trust that you’re not just skilled, but also trained to teach safely and professionally.
